What is Anxiety ?
Anxiety is a consuming state of fear and intimidation. It occurs naturally in a variety of situations and is short lived but in an ongoing manner can create physical problems leading to panic attacks.
Signs & Symptoms of Anxiety
· Increased rates of perspiration
· Digestive difficulties – lack of appetite, nausea, diarrhoea, spasm of the intestines, etc.
· Burn out
· Poor concentration
How can Anxiety be treated?
There are many natural remedies for anxiety including diet and nutrition, consistent sleep patterns and herbal medicice. Also some therapies can be very effective, such as relaxation techniques, yoga, acupuncture, meditation and counselling.
For severe anxiety, a general practitioner or counsellor should be seen.
