What is Thai Massage?

Thai Massage is a form of complementary and integrative medicine. Having roots in Ayurvedic medicine, this unique and highly relaxing massage is based on the concept of energy lines (Sen) running through the body. The working of these Sen lines can break blockages, stimulate the free flow of Prana and help to restore general well-being.

How does Thai Massage work?

During the massage you lie on a mattress wearing loose clothing while the therapist treats the whole body using a flowing sequence of applied pressure to the energy lines, massage movements, streches and yoga excercises. The flowing sequence can be seen as a 'dance' between the giver and the receiver.

What conditions can Thai Massage treat?

The massage gently streches and lengthens muscles and slowly opens tight joints - knees, ancles, wrists and especially hips, shoulders and neck - and it also stimulates the functioning of the internal organs, improves blood circulation and balances the nervous system.

Thai Massage is helpful for stiffness in back and joints, poor blood circulation and lymphatic drainage, muscular tension, digestive problems, lack of energy.
