Onnuri Therapy provides treatment through combining Korean Acupucture and Hyrudotherapy.
Korean Acupuncture works by stimulating active points on the hands, feet and ears that correspond to different organs and systems of the body. For example stimulation of active points on the thumb has a direct effect on the head. By inserting fine needles in these points prophylactic and curative effects can be achieved.
The body and its correspondence system interact continuously. When an illness strikes, the affected organ or body part sends a ‘signalling wave’ to its corresponding point and excites it: the point becomes painful. At the moment of stimulation on such a point a ‘curving wave’ springs up and produces a normalizing effect on the sick organ.
